Every year we have many
wonderful people explore BC's remote inlets and see our magnificent wildlife
with us. Here are some of their photos and comments about their trips.
"We
want to thank you for giving us the best day of our vacation. It was a
dream come true to see fishing grizzly bears, especially in such nice company
as you and Greg. We were lucky to see many bears, and we made lots of pictures,
they remind us of a wonderful close-to-nature event."

"We have been to Banff, Jasper, Whistler,
Vancouver and Victoria. Your black bear eco tour it was the first time
I didn't feel like a tourist." A. Sacchetti, Italy.
Roland Kilcher, Seattle
"We
just wrote a short letter to the Lonely Planet recommending your excellent
grizzly bear trip for the next Canadian edition. The truth is that the
time we spent with you has been the best part of our trip and we will never
forget it." Benno Schummer & Renee Bocxe, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.*
"We would like to thank you again for the two
amazing days we spent with you at Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet in June this year
watching grizzly bears. The extra stop at Village Island to look at the
abandoned aboriginal winter village made it even better. Your effort to make it
both times a perfekt day for us was really remarkable. Here are finally some
pictures of Rock'n'Roll, donig what they do best: simply rock and roll. Marcus
Otto with Angelika Goergens, Koeln, Germany.
We'd
like to thank you so much for this awesome, amazing and wonderful trip in the
Knight Inlet to the
Glendale
spawning channels watching Grizzly bears. The Grizzlies were great! Bald
eagles, Kingfishers …everything! And the absolute highlight was the Grizzly
mom with her 4 cubs. You made our best day of our vacation. Thanks to Bill and
Greg for their nice hospitality. The whole day was perfect! The trip on the boat
and the stop at Lagoon Cove Marina made it even better. You are so lucky to work
and live in the beautiful nature of
British Columbia
! We all have to protect the nature. Enclosed a pic from the cute little 4 cubs
with their mom. We hope to make this trip someday again.
Many
greetings from Germany. Patricia and Peter
Joe
and I would both like to thank you again for the amazing day that we had
with you on your Grizzly Bear and Salmon Tour at the end of August. We
both agree that it was one of the best days of our lives! One of the highlights
of the day was watching one of the mothers catch a salmon and then tease
her cubs with it a little, before finally giving the cubs the catch. We
also saw a lone grizzly charge out of the woods at the mother and cubs,
and we watched the mother shelter her cubs and stare down the grizzly until
he passed them by. It was amazing! We really have to thank you, Howard,
for everything that you did to make the day so special -- your hospitality
is unbeatable! One of my best memories of the day was sitting on the dock
at the marina on the way home, eating smoked salmon and crackers and grapes,
looking at the amazing scenery all around us, and reflecting on all of
the different wildlife that we had seen that day. I remember thinking that
you seemed to enjoy the day just as much as all of us did. I think that's
what made our day so wonderful -- the small touches show that you really
enjoy your work. It all adds up to a day that Joe and I will never forget!!
Thanks again!
Pam Walthour, New Jersey.
First
of all we want to thank you again for the experience of seeing the Grizzlies
at Knight Inlet (September 4). It was indeed a thrill of a lifetime, not
just watching the bears, but also the trip to and from the estuary and
the very good guide you are. We will never forget this trip, we will recommend
it to everybody, and we will hopefully be back one day to do it again.

We'd like to thank you for the wonderful day at
the Glendale Spawning Channels in Knight
Inlet when we saw 13 grizzlies including a sow bear and 3 cubs
...and also
the grizzly that walked just a few meters in front of the truck. We wish you and
Kerry lots of success with your tours and we'll meet again some day.
Jan & Jenny van Twillert, the Netherlands.
We want to thank everyone for their contributions.
